Position Overview: Star Bright Dental in Westminster, CA is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Your skills and dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations. Provide routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures. Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, brushing and flossing techniques, and preventive care strategies. Review and document patient treatment plans, recording necessary information in Dentrix. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and sterile working environment. Review patient records and documentation for accuracy and completeness, submitting for medical coding where applicable. Be a resource for patients and their families, answering questions and providing guidance on dental health and treatments. Qualifications: Certification or diploma as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) required. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both patients and team members. Passion for dental care and a commitment to creating a comfortable, caring experience for patients and their families.
